We stock exceptional quality garden soils – from value top soils to premium top soils – for perfect planting and general garden use. We supply both money-saving larger bags for bigger gardening projects and smaller bags for minimal pot planting and topping off.

Mulch and bark chippings

Used to give the soil around plants a boost while neatening up beds, mulch can be a time-saver in the garden too. By helping soil retain moisture in summer and supressing weed growth, a good quality mulch can reduce the amount of time spent watering and weeding. Mulch works year-round by providing root protection to your garden plants in the winter.

We stock the Melcourt range of bark chippings and garden mulches for borders and pots at excellent prices to make your horticultural haven the best it can possibly be. These include Melcourt Bark Nuggets, Melcourt Pine Mini Chips and Melcourt Spruce Ornamental. 

Great garden compost 

Our main supplier of garden compost, soil conditioner and manure is trusted brand Westland. We also provide a range of John Innes garden and plant care products in 10L bags, for both general and more specialist use, including: JI No.1, No.2, No.3, Multi-Purpose, Rose, Tree and Shrub, and Ericaceous. These are really popular due to their handy size and great low price..

We stock a range of peat-free composts including Melcourt Peat Free Multi-Purpose and Melcourt Sylvagrow Organic Compost so there are always a few alternative options for green gardeners. In addition to this, we stock Woodland Horse Manure and Mushroom Compost. This eco-friendly compost range will continue to blossom over the coming months.
